These two companies have combined forces to address the need to track mobile assets beyond urban areas to include parts of the Central North Island / BOP (see map below) that have no conventional GPS tracking coverage.

What is Ecotrak?

Ecotrak is an online GPS tracking system that covers your home town as well as covering areas of the country (see map) where other GPS tracking systems cannot reach. This system will be of great interest to tourism operators, trucking companies, courier companies, boaties, forest companies, even concerned parents, and many more. Ecotrak enables you to track your mobile assets, even into remote areas, showing the location of your assets via the Google Maps system. You can even zoom right in on the location to see which parking space your vehicle is in!

What are the benefits of Ecotrak?

You can use Ecotrak to view the location, speed and direction of travel of your mobile assets in near real time, and by using the built in Date / Time Range search engine you can view history of where your assets were at a certain time and date including being able to see the speeds and direction the asset was heading. Think of the savings your fleet managers could make! You can even customise your asset icons and labels to make the system very user friendly.
